USA Soccer Schedule
The United States Men's National Team heads into World Cup play as the No. 14 team in FIFA's rankings. Led by Graham Zusi, Clint Dempsey and Jozy Altidore, the USMNT will try to advance past the Round of 16 in the xxxx World Cup, after being eliminated by Germany in the Round of 16 in xxxx.
The USMNT has four friendly matches scheduled before World Cup play kicks off in June. Team USA will play a friendly against the Mexican National Team April 2, in Glendale, Arizona. The American National Team will then head to Candlestick Park in San Francisco, to take on Azerbaijan on May 27. Team USA will finish up its slate of friendly matches with matches against Turkey (June 1, New Jersey) and Nigeria (June 7, Jacksonville), before headed to Brazil for World Cup play.

Sports are particularly associated with education in the United States, with most high schools and universities having organized sports. College sports competitions play an important role in the American sporting culture, and certain college sports ? particularly college football and college basketball ? are at least as popular as professional sports.
