Job Description:
Bonide Products, Inc., a nationally:recognized manufacturer of Lawn and Garden products, is currently seeking candidates for an outside sales position, calling on an established customer base and developing new customers.
The available sales position requires that the candidate be self:motivated and goal:oriented. The candidate will be responsible for developing and increasing the sales of Bonide products to a variety of retail outlets in the states of VT and NY (except Long Island). Lawn and Garden sales experience would be beneficial, but is not required.
Responsibilities will include:
The ability to plan, implement and increase sales in the territory
Successfully create and deliver sales presentations
Develop off:shelf product display programs, including advertising suggestions for key accounts in the marketplace
The successful candidate will possess:
A Bachelor's Degree
A minimum of 3 years outside sales experience.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Must be able to work in a team environment, have good communication skills and share ideas openly.
The ability to work from a home:based office and travel overnight a minimum of 3 nights per week on average.
The ability to lift fifty (50) pounds to display products at retail store locations.
A reliable car and a valid driver's license.
