HallKeen Management has an opening for a part:time Administrative Assistant; 24 hours per week. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills both verbal and written. Must have good people skills, good computer skills with knowledge or Microsoft Office (outlook, Word, and Excel), and must be able to work effectively with minimum of supervision. Strong marketing skills and professional demeanor a must at all times. Must be able to multitask and thrive in a fast paced environment. Candidate should be computer proficient. Previous experience in residential leasing, tax credit compliance and section 8 is a plus.
Responsibilities include: interfacing on a daily basis with residents to resolve their concerns, taking and logging of service requests in computerizes tenant management system, posting/depositing rent checks, handling all rent collection matters, marketing and showing of apartments : and processing of new applications, completing annual recertification of existing residents, maintaining waitlist, annual budgeting, collection of rents, negotiating purchasing of goods and services with vendors and contractors, and processing invoices to be sent to corporate office accounts payable department.
