Role Summary/Purpose: The Senior Project Manager, Installation and Commissioning (I and C) will be responsible for the planning and execution of global Energy Storage projects.
Essential Responsibilities: As the Senior Project Manager, Installation and Commissioning, you will:
:Own the overall project management, resourcing and execution of all assigned Energy Storage projects
:Work with Commercial Operations and sourcing teams during the Inquiry to Order (ITO) phase to develop project delivery schedule per lead times, develop cost models for installation and commissioning activities and long:term service agreements
:Work with functional leaders to create cross:functional project plans that include project schedules, resource plans, and budgets
:Work with EPCs (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) for turnkey project scope to develop integrated project plans
:Closely work with the Engineering, Requisition and Sourcing team to evaluate and qualify EPC partners for turnkey project scope
:Lead and coordinate Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Field Services, and EPC activities to execute on assigned project plans within budget and schedule, challenging team members and functional managers on performance when necessary
:Manage project : related communications with the customer, including status updates, technical and commercial reviews, and all other information exchanges
:Provide formal internal status updates to Manager, Installation and Commissioning Projects Team and other Energy Storage leadership
:Create and foster a collaborative, fast:paced, and quality:oriented environment
:Ensure operational excellence in the areas of integrity, controllership and compliance
:Provide support to Commercial Operations and sourcing teams during the Inquiry to Order (ITO) phase to develop project delivery schedule per lead times, develop cost models for installation and commissioning activities and long:term service agreements
Qualifications/Requirements:
:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math or Sciences from an accredited university or college
:Minimum of 5 years of Application, Design or Field Engineering experience in the power generation / utility sector
:Minimum or 5 years of project management experience for equipment and construction projects valued at 5M or greate
