Kona was in a terrible predicament. She was lost or abandoned, hungry and thin, and very pregnant. She was hanging out on a golf course when an AnimaLovers volunteer spotted her and lured her out of the bushes. Surprisingly it wasn't difficult. She's a VERY friendly girl. Sadly, Kona lost her kittens; but, she is healthy now and ready for a home and loving family. After all she had been through, you'd think she might not be so trusting...but you'd be wrong. She loves hanging out with her foster mom and dad. In fact, sometimes you have to step over her - she just wants to be wherever her family is. And though she was understandably very hormonal, she was still very tolerant of the three male cats in her foster home right from the beginning. Kona is small and only about a year old.
